International Volunteer Network Conference (IVN+)

During IBD+ 2025 in Düsseldorf the IVN (International Volunteer Network) will meet.

The purpose of the International Volunteer Network meetings is to provide volunteers of various national Mensas opportunities to meet and exchange experiences and ideas.

In addition – that is the IVN+ part – nine more IVN+ workshops will be offered on Friday and Saturday, plus one additional keynote session on Friday.

IBD+ (Dinner and more Fun)

As you surely know IVN+ takes place as kind of part of IBD+.

Information about IBD+ 2025 including things you might want to know about Germany can be found on the IBD+ website.
On that page you can find how to get to the location of IBD+ and thus of IVN and IVN+ as well as accommodation etc.

Please note and accept that tagging along with the IBD+ guests to some dinner might not be possible without booking in advance it since we tell the restaurants the number of visitors and if applicable meal orders ahead of time so that they can plan well. Due to this we will only have a pretty limited number of seats available during IBD+.
The standard dinners are the Icebreaker (Thursday), the Dine Around - Brauhaus am Dreieck (Friday) and Gala Dinner (Saturday),

Requirements

Participants are expected to be involved in the topic(s) for which they register as official IVN+ delegates representing their national Mensa. They should prepare a short presentation (5-10 minutes) to contribute to the discussion, and it is highly recommended to prepare a report for their board and/or national magazine on what they have learned from the IVN meeting or any IVN+ workshop.

If you are interested in representing your country as IVN+ delegate, please get in touch with your national Mensa´s board.

Please confirm that you read, understand and fulfil the requirements for attending as a delegate of your national Mensa by checking "Delegates: I understand & fulfil IVN+ requirements".

These requirements do not apply for the IVN+ Keynotes (24.10.2025 16:00) - they are open to anybody wanting to listen (as long as seats are available).

Notes on booking

Please indicate if you are an official IVN+ delegate, or an interested member by checking the appropriate option and state your current role in your national Mensa.
... and as indicated above that you read, understand and fulfil the requirements for attending as a delegate of your national Mensa by checking that you understand and fulfil the IVN+ requirements.
