The Brauhaus alter Bahnhof told me that I should include their "Grillhaxe" in the list of main courses you can book since it is supposedly the best Grillhaxe in Düsseldorf.
The base event price includes the first dish in the list; for the others the price indicated is the difference to the base price.
Please note and accept that the last dish on the list, the "Traditional German noodles for Children" is
for children only - adults (or those nearly adults) booking it risk that they will not get that dish despite paying for it...
You will get a coupon for the dish chosen that will be your "meal ticket" in the restaurant. Everything else you get you need to pay on-site.
- Baked Potato (Ofenkartoffel):
Baked potato with grilled vegetables, vegan herb white cheese (quark), and salad bouquet - Vegan Curry Sausage (Vegane Currywurst):
Brewery meets Vegan Currywurst: 120g plant-based grilled sausage, spicy curry sauce, brewery-style fries, and coleslaw - Matjes Herring “Hauswife Style“ (Matjes “Hausfrauen Art“):
Matjes "Housewife Style" (Matjes is soused raw herring) with brewery-style fried potatoes, and garden salad - Rheinish Marinated Pot Roast (Rheinischer Sauerbraten):
Rhenish Sauerbraten (marinated pot roast) with red cabbage, potato dumplings, and apple compote - Brewery XL Schnitzel (Schnitzel Brauhaus XL):
Schnitzel (breaded thin slice of meat) with braised onions, and fried egg - Crispy Roasted Pork Knuckle (Knusprige Grillhaxe):
Oven-fresh crispy pork knuckle with sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, and beer jus - Traditional German noodles for Children (Kinderspätzle):
Children’s Spätzle (type of noodles) with creamy sauce (this dish is for children only)
Hint for booking
When booking please select the dish you want to eat. The first one on the list is the default but might not quite be what you prefer; the price indicated for the other dishes is the respective price difference since the first one included.
If you want to e.g. join this as a couple, then book two slots and then select two dishes (be it different ones or the same for both) and the membership number or email address of the second person into the field "I book for me and...".
The reason we let you pick your dish when booking (and pay for it) is that without a pre-order quite a few restaurants can´t cope with so many visitors happening by at pretty much the same time.
